Marietta YOGA Collective
Wanda works with adults in individual therapy. Since 1980 she has been assisting people in recovering from anxiety, depression, abuse issues, addictions, relationship difficulties, and more. She is also a Board Certified - TeleMental Health Provider. Wanda discovered the amazing benefits of yoga and became certified in Integrative Yoga Therapy in 1997, later travelling to India to complete her 500 hour certification through the Himalayan Institute.
Her classes are generally a slow flow of postures, often including yin yoga (longer held poses for stretching the inner connective tissue) and restorative yoga (using bolsters to support deep relaxation). She emphasizes listening to your own body, and honoring what is right for you in each moment, inviting non-judgmental awareness on all levels – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. The classes include yogic breathing, asanas (postures), relaxation, mudras (yoga for your hands), pranayama (breathing practices), and meditation.
Her classes are gentle, but you will increase strength, tone, flexibility, and focus, while reducing the effects of stress and deepening your connection with inner wisdom and serenity.
Beginning and continuing students are welcome.
