317 Alexander Street in Marietta, Georgia is more than an address. It is a sanctuary away from the pressures of everyday life. Once you enter the door of this cozy cottage, with its well cared for landscaping, you can feel the calm friendliness that envelops this place.

It was with these feelings that I sat at my drawing table and produced a rendering of the building that houses the Marietta Center for Yoga and Well-being. I have been a student at the Center for over three years. I have been an artist all my life. Combining what the Center has taught me about yoga and the meditative spirit, along with my love of creating an image on paper, turned into a unique experience for me. I am honored that Wanda DeVaughn asked to use my rendering for the Center’s website.

What we offer...

Uncover the essence of your true nature, with the balance of a strong body, a focused mind, an open heart, and a joyful spirit. In a calm and nurturing environment with certified, licensed and skilled professionals, we offer a variety of services to support your overall health.  The Marietta Center for Yoga and Well Being welcomes you to join us for any or all of the following:

YOGA
Choose from various styles and levels of yoga to meet your individual needs. We have classes from gentle to challenging, and all teachers are certified and experienced.  Come enjoy yoga in a non-competitive environment and a class size that allows  attention to your needs. All  yoga classes will increase your flexibility, strength, ability to focus, and sense of calm connectedness.  See "teachers" to read more details of how each teacher designs her class.

MEDITATION & PRANAYAMA
Learn and practice the basics of meditation and various types of pranayama (breath work). Increase focus, calm the mind, and see how these practices enrich you and ease the stresses in your life.

PSYCHOTHERAPY
Sometimes painful emotional experiences, grief or difficult life transitions block your progress and joy in life. Assistance and support can be invaluable at these times. We have several therapists from which to choose. See "Therapy and Other Offerings" for more information.

NEURO EMOTIONAL TECHNIQUE
A mind-body approach to healing which utilizes kinesiology and meridians to rapidly get to the core of issues,  removing emotional blocks that interfere with your current well-being. See "Therapy and Other Offerings" for more information.

MASSAGE
Diana Kirschner, BFA, CMT, NMT offers a wide range of Massage Therapy including Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Swedish, Neuromuscular, as well as energy work and Breakthrough Breathwork Meditation.

BREAKTHROUGH BREATHWORK MEDITATION
